Jesuit secretariat dedicated to coordinating the mission of promoting social and ecological justice and reconciliation with God, people, and nature.

As part of the Paths of Hospitality campaign, we a As part of the Paths of Hospitality campaign, we are very happy to share with you something particularly meaningful: a video message from Fr. General Arturo Sosa SJ dedicated to Hospitality Day, which we will celebrate on 22 October.

🚪A call to open our hearts, our doors, and our institutions to peace and hospitality.

#PathsOfHospitality #HospitalityDay #Hospitality
On 22 October, we are celebrating 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 On 22 October, we are celebrating 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 with one simple gesture shared around the world: opening our doors and our arms to others.

At a time when so many doors remain closed to migrants, refugees and displaced people, we want to open ours. To welcome. To encounter. To show that there is always room for others.

Open the door of a place that is meaningful to you, walk through it with open arms, and share your gesture of hospitality with us.

Take a photo or short video and send it to contacto@hospitalidad.es by 14 October. Together, these gestures will become part of a global expression of welcome and encounter on 22 October.

The idea is simple, but the collective result can be powerful: many doors opening around the world with the same message of hospitality and peace.

Thank you very much for helping us bring this shared gesture to life.

One door. One gesture. Many people around the world.
Hospitality opens the door to peace.

On the occasion of the Season of Creation, which b On the occasion of the Season of Creation, which begins on September 1, we welcome the invitation of Pope Leo XIV to pray “For the care of water.” 🌊

During this time, the Pope calls us to reflect on water—one of life’s most precious and essential gifts. Let us pray for the wisdom to use and manage it justly and responsibly, safeguarding it as a common good and promoting equitable access for all.

Take a moment to pray with the Pope and explore how you can embrace this prayer experience.

Sinta o alívio e a energia. 🌱🌾

Transforming the way we eat is not just about agri Transforming the way we eat is not just about agriculture—it is about life itself! 🌱 🌾

Ahead of COP31, we are advancing the global campaign «Jesuits for Climate Justice: Turning Hope into Action 2026».

In this video, we focus on our third call:
>" Set clear goals to build global food systems focused on food sovereignty and agroecological practices, encouraging culturally adapted methods for production, processing, distribution, and consumption."

Transforming global food systems by promoting agroecology and food sovereignty means protecting soils, water, forests, seeds, and biodiversity; supporting the knowledge and wisdom of farming and Indigenous communities; and ensuring that present and future generations have access to sufficient, healthy food with dignity.

Because we cannot weaken the very thing that sustains our existence. Caring for what we eat means caring for our common home. Climate Justice is Social Justice. 🌍 ⚖️
